Interactive Power Point

During this week I had a lot of troubles doing Power Point.  I learned many ways how to do slides with interactive elements, in my opinion the most interesting was Interactive quiz. After trying at the end I could do it. Technology is just practice and time to research many alternatives that it provides us. In fact it will be a good idea to practice grammar in my future project plan.
http://www.garrreynolds.com/Presentation/slides.html  has good suggestions to do slides, especially when students do presentations about Touristic Places, Customs of Ecuador or topics that they choose as a lecture.
http://www.microsoft.com/education/story.mspx through hyperlinks we can do an interesting story and predict the next action.
To tell you the truth I need a Feedback about how to use these different Interactive Power Point.

Assessment

Alternative assessment http://www.nclrc.org/essentials/assessing/alternative.htm  give us free to design test not only traditional test but performance based, which help us to emphasize that the point of language learning is communication for meaningful purposes. (http://www.ncsall.net/?id=385 .)Project –Based  Instruction by Susan Gaer change the traditional learning to interesting activities that help students to learn more for example folktales, how to talk about the family and daily life and after they produce a small book which includes stories about family, work, and weekend life. These types of projects require the students to use the material in a meaningful way.
http://www.zunal.com/ . Web Quest  has good topics that teachers can select to develop a task. They provide Introduction, task, process, evaluation, conclusion, and teacher page. http://webquest.sdsu.edu/about_webquests.html in this page explain the goal of web pages where teachers can identify topics that fit in with their curriculum and for which there are appropriate materials.

Readin, Writing and Vocabulary

Receptive skill was analyzed this week. Three Extensive Reading Activities for ESC/EFL students using E-book by Mei - Ya Liang to encourage and guide students to read authentic e-texts outside of classromm. When we teach writing vary a lot, depends on the age and needs of our learners.
Technology - enhanced lesson plan from the Innovative Technology Center of the University of Tennessee has similar components that we use only we can some elements like State Curriculum Standars; Nets-s (2007) Performance indicators. It's a good methodology how to use web pages.
About the Project describing issues of that technology might be able to help with. I have to monitor, plan, and evaluate it.

Teaching Aural/oral skill

During this week I read and found useful webpages that will help me with my students for example the use of CALL in teaching sencond / foreing language speaking skills, for befinners and intermediate I take in account some exercises to improve pronunciation according my real situation.
About the project that I choose was "Building Teaching Skills Through the Interactive Web" by Nicoli Nadina Carmen. It fits to my situation and It's going to be my guide.

Writing objectives

ABCD method of writing objectives is a good system for teachers  when we  stablish rubrics,  in the moment to assess. About searching I like to tell you the truth, I need more time to surf on internet, it's so much information, please sugguest me how to choose the best one specially for my students. Although Technology helps a lot, it's necessary to categorize according to the real environment.
